Skilled Trades Academy
Explore an exciting career in the skilled trades!
The Skilled Trades Academy will give 30 participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in the exciting world of skilled trades. This three-week program will offer safety instruction (First Aid/CPR), industry tours and speakers, certification training (forklift and flagging). Credit will be offered to current high school students. Students will work hands on with professionals as they Earn While Learning. Each student will earn a weekly stipend in addition to valuable industry recognized certificates. The program will conclude with a graduation and hiring event to connect graduates with employment opportunities.

- Who: Young adults ages 16-24
- Why: Because you are interested in learning more about pursuing a career in the skilled trades.
In addition, there will be pizza lunches provided once a week, bus passes if needed, graduation event for family and friends and lots of cool program swag!
*Must be a Spokane County resident.
Registration is open March 1st - March 31st, 2019. Apply now for a spot. Our team will evaluate applications and follow up with all applicants in mid April.
